Over 700 thousand people have signed up to storm Area 51 in search for extraterrestrials.

A Facebook event, “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us” has taken the internet by a storm. The even currently has 877K people as going, and a solid 766K as interested. Those numbers are growing by the second.

According to the event description, this is the plan. “We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry. If we Naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Let’s see them aliens.”

Area 51 is a top-secret U.S. military base in the Nevada desert.

The Air Force has responded by issuing a warning to said alien conspiracy theorists. Spokesperson Laura McAndrews stated: β€œ[Area 51] is an open training range for the US Air Force, and we would discourage anyone from trying to come into the area where we train American armed forces.”

β€œThe US Air Force always stands ready to protect America and its assets,” she added while speaking with The Washington Post.
