Avengers: Endgame has officially surpassed Avatar as the most successful movie of all time!

Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame grossed a further $2.8 million at the global box office last weekend. This brings the total to $2.78 billion, which is an outstanding amount.

In 2009, Avatar grossed $2.788 billion in December, they have successfully passed that and the worldwide haul currently sits at $2.789 billion.

The release of Spider-Man: Far from Home contributed greatly to the success of Endgame. This is due to the fact that the plot was teased by Endgame.

This was a really eventful week for Marvel, as they also announced the reboot of ‘Blade’.

The two-time Oscar-winning actor, Mahershala Ali, will be taking over the role of Blade from Wesley Snipes.

President of Marvel Studios since 2007, Kevin Feige, announced the news at the Comic-Con’s Hall H crowd in San Diego. “Thanks to you, ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is the biggest film of all time,” he said.
