Kate Upton calls Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show a ‘snoozefest’, and she isn’t bothered by the rumored cancellation of this year’s show.
On Sunday, she was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and said an important statement:
“You know what? We’re sick of seeing the same body type,” Kate Upton said. “You have to be body inclusive now. Every woman needs to be represented, otherwise, it’s a snoozefest.”

Ratings for the brand’s televised runway show have plummeted in recent years, with Victoria’s Secret facing rampant criticism for the lack of diversity in its casting practices and for former chief marketing officer Ed Razek’s offensive comments about plus-size and trans models.
Upton has covered Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ and the September 2019 issue of Health, the latter of which featured unretouched photos.
“It was a really hard decision to make because it was months after I gave birth to my little baby girl,” the model explained during her appearance on Andy Cohen’s show. “But I thought it was really important because we’re surrounded by so much retouching and social media and filters and we’ve kind of lost touch with what’s real and what’s not real.”
